This candle really sets the mood for Thanksgiving and winter holidays.

It is actually an all around good scent and strong enough to smell from another room.

It is made in America ! Yahoo !, so the wick is lead free !

I agree with the earlier review on this scent – it’s a good one and is particularly appropriate for the fall season (September – November/December).

You can really smell the strong pumpkin scent. If you like pumpkin, then this one’s for you! Of course, since Yankee Candles tend to be pricey, get this one when it’s on sale.

    Recommended.

Look, I love Yankee Candles, but you have to be kidding with this price plus shipping. This size candle from the Yankee Candle company is only $24.99. Please don’t waste your money. Find a local store that sells Yankee and you’ll find a $24.99 price or even lower.

Yankee candles have the best scents of any I’ve tried, but this is the one that gets the most praise from visitors. I can’t say the scent is seasonal because I light it at all times of year and the response is always the same. ‘It smells so good in here.’ Most visitors to my house come in through my utility/project room and that’s where this particular candle lives. It’s a pleasure for me as I sew or do laundry or whatever, but it is especially nice to have guests light up upon entering and comment (even when the place is a mess :) . This particular scent seems to appeal to everyone, where some others aren’t so universal. The spicy sweetness is subtle, but really does lend the atmosphere of a pie in the oven.

Yankee Candle does an excellent job of producing warm inviting scents that never smell harsh or artificial as some grocery stores air fresheners do to me and judging from the positive comments I receive, others must feel the same. Apparently, when the outer door is opened, the air agitation draws the scent more actively so there’s a gentle waft of deliciousness that puts a smile on everyone’s face. You can’t beat that and this particular size lasts really a long time. I’ve burned mine on and off for a year and now it’s finally time for another.

Spiced Pumpkin is so delicious smelling. It’s sweet, with a slight spicy scent. It is my top 3 favorites, along with Christmas Eve and Autumn Wreath. It’s so amazing I recommend you stop by a local Hallmark store, Yankee store or any other retailer that sells YC and have a whiff yourself. These are by far the most strongly scented candles you will buy. They are expensive, but one large candle lasts and lasts. If you don’t want to spend $25 for a large jar, I recommend trying their tarts (those give out the most scent of all YC products) or votives to sample. That is what I did. When I was new to YC, I bought close to 40 votives when they were on sale for $1. That way I could weed out the ones I didn’t like and it saved me money in the long run.
